A while back I had no idea the power created from spending time on a visual plan - I have since discovered what it means and it is mind blowing!
I call this The Big Picture - others a Vision Board.
Of course, many around me believe this to be a huge dose of mumbo jumbo...mmm! I can prove them and you wrong!
Let's think on why a vision board is so powerful:
Your brain works tirelessly to achieve those constant statements you feed to your subconscious mind. And when those statements are the affirmations and images of your dreams, you are destined to achieve them!
Bob Proctor (The Secret) has this to say....The law of attraction is always working, whether we believe it or understand it.
Creating a vision board is probably one of the most valuable and empowering tools available to you. This tool serves as your view or image of the future - your future! It is a tangible representation of where you are wanting to go and dreaming of achieving. It represents your deepest desires, dreams and ambitions. This is the basic law of attraction. and you can see the law of attraction wherever you are.
Lisa Nichols (The Secret) states that you draw all of this to yourself - the people, the circumstances, the health, the wealth, the debt, the joy, the car you drive and the community you live in.
Basically you are what you believe....it's so simple.... and now let's go back to the The Big Picture.
Find pictures that represent the experiences, feelings and possessions you really want in your life and place them on The Big Picture.
Ask yourself: Where do you see yourself in a few years time?
Use your board or picture to depict goals and dreams in all areas of your life....or in just one specific area that you are focusing on.
Try keeping your board near your bed - pin it to the wall where you can see it often (the last thing you will look at before going to sleep and the first you will see in the morning)
The more time you spend visualising, the more powerful your affirmations and goals become.
PS: the last 45 minutes before you sleep is especially powerful. The thoughts and images that are present in your mind at that time are the ones that will replay themselves repeatedly in your subconscious mind throughout your sleep.
I hope I have inspired you to contemplate creating your own Big Picture or pop along to my workshop on Saturday 11 February in the beautiful Winelands area of Durbanville and let me show you how!
Bookings can be made through the website or drop me a mail at email@example.com
Taking this time to visualise your dreams will serve as a catalyst in their creation.
